Chili Relleno was really good. Burrito was
 ok, however our 'burrito connoisseur'
thought that it could be much better.
Simple lettuce salad worked for our
 'gluten-free' expert.
 Service was quick.
Happy hour sounds like a best bet.
Atmosphere was excellent on a beautiful
day.
Chili Rellano  $6

Burrito $11

The Rose Cafe and Market, Venice, CA

The Rose front door.

Coffee was great. That is all we had. Must go back for more...
Three years ago, as a visitor, I thought that this bakery was a library. Next year, I wasn't sure since there were lines out the door. Next, I thought, maybe, it was a restaurant. Finally, we went in and were greatly surprised that it was such a lovely place. We could not find the name on the building... Unique concept (no in-your-face advertising), however that seems to be the norm in Venice.
And, the gift shop was unusually entertaining and useful for finding unique gifts.

Yellow Curry was fantastic! Even the side of brown rice was good. Atmosphere was exotic, unusual, and fantastic with the great socal weather. Eclectic seating with slab wood tables. A hole in the wall that I can't wait to eat at again.
